China News Service, June 30. According to the Russian Satellite Network, US President Biden said in his speech a few days ago that US-Russian relations should be stable and predictable.

On June 16, local time, Russian President Putin and US President Biden met in a villa named La Grange in Geneva, Switzerland.

The picture shows Russian President Putin and US President Biden shaking hands before the meeting.

Biden recently stated at an event of the Democratic National Committee of the United States: "I have made it clear to President Putin in Russia that we should have the opportunity to cooperate where we have common interests-on nuclear non-proliferation and climate change issues."

When talking about the differences between the two countries, Biden promised to take retaliatory measures in the event of a cyber attack or "interference" in the US economy.

Biden also accused Trump of causing "unimaginable losses" to the dialogue between the United States and its allies, but did not specify the specific losses.

The meeting between the leaders of Russia and the United States was held at the Villa La Grange in Geneva on June 16.

This is the first Russia-US summit since Russian President Putin and Biden’s predecessor and Republican Trump held talks in Helsinki in 2018.

After the meeting, Biden said that Putin had no intention of launching a "new cold war" with the United States. The dialogue was generally good and positive. Putin also said that the talks were "not hostile" and "quite constructive."
