The Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office has presented in the National Court its accusation in one of the branches of the Lezo case: six years in prison for the former president of the Community of Madrid

Ignacio González

, his brother and his brother-in-law for the rigging in the construction of a field Golf course on the Canal de Isabel II land.

The Public Ministry attributes the same two bribery crimes to the former director general of the Ildefonso de Miguel Channel and the businessman Antonio Clemente.

He demands the same penalty of six years from them.

According to the account that the Prosecutor's Office will take to court, Ignacio González, "in order to benefit family members," promoted the processing of a modified project that had previously been awarded to Dragados for landscaping on the roof of the Third Canal Deposit.

The modification consisted of replacing the landscaping with a golf course.

Despite the fact that due to the size of the variations a new tender should have been called, a modification was processed, agreeing with the construction company that the company to which it had to subcontract was TCT.

González's brother and brother-in-law, hidden behind figureheads, were partners in the company.

In another subsequent tender to manage the facilities, TCT again benefited, which would mean a new bribery offense.

"Ultimately, the joint action of the defendants allowed TCT, a company without technical capacity to carry out any of the entrusted works, to interpose unnecessarily and benefit unduly from both awards, obtaining a benefit of at least € 504,780 financed with the public funds allocated to such contracting. "

The brother and brother-in-law of the former regional president shared the benefits of TCT with the accused businessman.

This was a partner of TCT in the same percentage as the other two but, according to the Prosecutor's Office, he was not a relative of González and ended up taking less money than he was entitled to.
