Saint-Charles station, Marseille's main station, was evacuated around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, the Bouches-du-Rhône police headquarters announced on social networks.

The deminers would be on site, according to our information, in order to neutralize three suspicious packages discovered simultaneously in the train station and in the bus station.

The authorities are asking to avoid the area for now.

Last week, another incident occurred at Saint-Charles train station.

An investigation was opened after a TGV connecting Paris to Marseille was hit by several projectiles, a priori fired by a firearm.
