During the pandemic, people have begun to move more and more in forests and land, and therefore the Skogssällskapet foundation is now taking the opportunity to call for pictures of trees that have taken on strange shapes.

- They are often found in coastal areas such as Halland where the wind has helped and in old pastures lost horseshoes or barbed wire can affect the growth of the tree, says communications manager Ulrika Lagerlöf at Skogssällskapet.

Becomes an excursion destination

Such trees are often left over the years because they have no timber value.

But they can often become landmarks and popular excursion destinations.

Now Skogssällskapet is looking for pictures of kinky trees and asks the Hallänningar to post them on social media with the hashtag # knasigaträd.
