A large-scale military exercise involving about 30 countries, centered on the US and Ukrainian navies, has begun in the Black Sea.

Russia is wary that the West is under increasing pressure over Ukraine's sovereignty, including Crimea, which was annexed seven years ago.

The US and Ukrainian navies have been conducting military exercises for more than 20 years with the participation of NATO members of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization to strengthen the security of the Black Sea.

This year's exercise began on the 28th, with more than 30 ships participating, with 5,000 people from about 30 countries, the largest number ever, according to NATO.

Regarding this exercise, NATO emphasized that it is increasing its military presence in the Black Sea, noting that it does not allow Russia's merger with Crimean seven years ago, and Ukraine also said, "Many countries are doing exercises. Participating in Ukraine shows that Ukraine is supported by the world. ”We would like to confirm our stance against Russia through exercises with Europe and the United States.

Off the coast of Crimea in the Black Sea, Russia announced on June 23 that it had fired a warning shot at a British destroyer, saying it would "invade the territorial waters." I am wary of strengthening.
