Ugo Mola will still be the coach of Stade Toulouse, author of the double European Cup-Championship, next season, being "anyway under contract" until 2023, he said in an interview with the newspaper Olympic noon published on Monday.

The 48-year-old coach, at the helm of the Haut-Garonnais club since 2015, clarified an ambiguous statement made on Friday after the Rouge et Noir's victory in the Top 14 final in front of La Rochelle (18-8).

"I'm already going to take advantage of my vacation and then I'll think about whether I'm coming back because life goes so fast that you have to take advantage of what you have," he said in the mixed zone.

"I wanted to say that, in any case, I will not be able to come back in the same way. You cannot reproduce the same things, apply the same methods, and the same operation, even if it has paid off (.. .) This sentence, it was in no way to put pressure on anyone, "said the coach, questioned on this point.

"I just sincerely wonder what it will take to our players to build the rugby of tomorrow that will allow them to still exist (...) The first person who must think about what he must bring , it's me. There is a project until 2023 to support this generation, and there will inevitably be another one afterwards, "he continued.

To the question + Will you be there for the resumption? +, Mola replied: "Yes (...) I'm under contract anyway. I'm not trying to sow trouble at all."
