According to a report by Taiwan’s "Central News Agency" on the 26th, the official website of the Xiamen Municipal Health Commission of Fujian Province reported on the same day that there were 4 new imported cases in Xiamen on the 25th, all from Taiwan.
Two of them took the Xiamen Airlines flight from Taipei Songshan Airport to Xiamen on the 20th, and the other two took the Lirong Airlines flight on the 21st.
They were quarantined immediately after entering the country, and the nucleic acid test results were positive.
According to the report, as of the 25th, Xiamen has reported a total of 266 confirmed imported cases overseas, of which 29 have been imported from Taiwan.
The "United Daily News" stated on the 27th that in the past week (18-24), the mainland has found a total of 12 confirmed cases from Taiwan, and 2 cases of asymptomatic infection, setting a new high in the past month, even more than the previous week. It is twice as high (not including the 4 new cases in Fujian on the 26th).
On the 27th, the Fujian Health Commission also announced that there were 4 newly imported confirmed cases, including 2 imported from Taiwan.
In addition, the Mainland’s National Health Commission notified on the 25th that 24 newly confirmed cases were confirmed on the 24th, all of which were imported from abroad. Among them, Shanghai and Chengdu, Sichuan each reported confirmed imported cases from Taiwan.
Earlier, there was even a Taiwanese passenger who had a positive nucleic acid test report and was able to fly from Taipei Songshan to Xiamen. He was only diagnosed after arriving in Xiamen.
In the most serious case, a Taiwanese man was tested for delta mutant virus in Macau, but he was negative in three samples in Taiwan.
