June 28, 2021 "This afternoon at 5.30 pm I will hold a press conference. You can follow it in live streaming on my Facebook page". The former premier Giuseppe Conte writes it on social media.

In the press conference Conte should talk about the state of relations with Grillo. Yesterday a new phone call between the former premier and the founder of M5s. Sources close to Conte report that there would continue to be distances with Grillo and that the main knots have not yet been resolved. But the dialogue would have been reopened: communication and appointments would remain in the hands of the new political leader, while Grillo would maintain the role of guarantor.

According to a reconstruction of the Corriere della Sera in yesterday's phone call between Grillo and the former premier, the differences in the five-star leadership remained unchanged.

According to the Corriere della Sera, a few hours before the possibility of saying goodbye to the offer to lead the Five Stars, Conte does not believe he has the political viability necessary to accept the job; he does not even believe that the approach to the launch of the new M5S ship is synonymous with serene navigation.

The openings proposed by Grillo in yesterday's phone call are considered not so much insufficient, but calibrated on minor issues, such as the choice of vice presidents. Conte reiterated that with Grillo there is "nothing personal". The time for dialogue does not seem over yet, but this Monday should lead to decisions.

Di Maio: we work in unity, as always we will find a solution

"We work for unity, using head and heart. As always we will find a solution": so Luigi Di Maio in an interview with La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno, on the Grillo-Conte clash.

Responding to a question on how to win back the southern electorate, the M5s reference basin, the Foreign Minister declares: "We work always putting ourselves at the service of the citizens. Superbonus, Pact for Export, Corruption sweeps, Citizenship income are just some of the measures brought home for the benefit of the community. We must continue to give answers to entrepreneurs, workers, artisans, VAT numbers, self-employed persons and families. Put in place tools that help the middle class, such as single check or the new criteria to promote conditions of equality in all cities on nursery schools and social services.
