They will be visible from this Wednesday.

On the occasion of the Voyage à Nantes, which will kick off this weekend, two tram trains have been given a makeover in the TAN workshops.

This year, the Parisian artist Amélie Bertrand was chosen to give a little boost to these vehicles, which will run on lines 1 and 2 with their new colors for at least a year.

Oars covered with adhesives

After the much appreciated black and white trainsets by Chourouk Hriech (in circulation until 2023), a more “festive” motif, a sort of “colored mirage”, has been imagined.

“Travelers will be able to project themselves into bright atmospheres, hopes Amélie Bertrand.

The tram is camouflaged in the city, but it dialogues, it also moves, as in a labyrinth.

I also wanted to represent openings that still send us elsewhere.

"

The two oars represent building materials, such as stone and tiles, but “study different universes, all inspired by the city”, with colors that differ slightly.

Several days were needed to cover these reams with adhesive films, on which the decorations were previously printed.
