After the joint efforts of all parties, the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of the three provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan respectively deliberated and unanimously approved the proposal on strengthening the joint protection of the Chishui River Basin at the end of May. Refine the relevant provisions of the Yangtze River Protection Law
As my country's first river basin law, the Yangtze River Protection Law came into effect on March 1 this year.

Ou Lin said that the joint legislation should be detailed and consistent with the relevant provisions of the Yangtze River Protection Law, adhere to the system concept, highlight the coordinated management of water resources, water environment, and water ecology, and integrate the protection and restoration of mountains, waters, forests, fields, lakes, and sand to effectively maintain the authenticity and integrity of the river basin ecosystem. In order to strengthen the protection and inheritance of the unique red cultural resources of the Chishui River Basin, the regulations also stipulate the protection of the human and natural landscapes such as the former site of the Tashi Conference and the Grand Canyon of the Three Provinces of Jiming.
For example, Yang Jun cited the three counties of Xuyong, Gulin, and Hejiang in Sichuan Province from poverty alleviation to rural revitalization, and they are also red resource gathering areas.
