By obtaining 52.7% of the votes according to a first IFOP-Fiducial estimate for TF1 and LCI, Xavier Bertrand was largely re-elected president of the Hauts-de-France region on Sunday evening after a second round of regional still marked by a large abstention (67.2%).

The various right candidate is ahead of the RN candidate Sébastien Chenu (25.9% of the vote) and Karima Delli, the united left candidate who obtains 21.4% of the vote.

Launched towards the presidential

With this great success, Xavier Bertrand will now be able to devote himself to the presidential election of 2022. If he has been a declared candidate for the Elysee Palace for several months, he had conditioned his candidacy for his re-election to the presidency of Hauts-de -France.

His regional victory this Sunday evening is the perfect start to his campaign towards the supreme election.
