In a summer-decorated cowshed, cows and calves look at us curiously.

But Eva Johansson is worried.

One of the calves is only three weeks old.

- A little small considering what prevails in the area, she says.

She and her husband live next to large woodlands and also have breeding horses.

- It's just a jump over the stone fence to get into our animals.

I feel very insecure with the knowledge of having a wolf here, she says.

Have seen wolves

Görgen Persson lives quite close by, who has hunting dogs, beagles, of which the youngest is 11 months old.

He says that his wife has seen a wolf up at the edge of the forest when she was out with the dogs.

- Then a wolf comes out on the road and stops and looks at her and she tried to scare it, but it was not very scared but just wandered away, he says.

Åsa Malmberg and her partner have also seen wolves outside the plot.

Åsa was fascinated but relieved that they no longer have sheep.

- On Mother's Day, my partner and I sat down and summed up the day, and right as it was, one of the dogs gave off a dull growl.

I followed his gaze and out on the road comes a wolf.

I reacted immediately and said "wolf", she says.
