Fall asleep in Stockholm and wake up in Berlin. The first night train between Sweden, Denmark and Germany since the 90s is now departing. In the video, SVT meets passengers at the platform - It feels great, we have been waiting for this train to go, says traveler Rico Simke.
The trains will run the route regularly and are an extension to the old Malmö-Berlin line that has been running since 2012. The idea is to make it easier for more people to travel sustainably in Europe.
The train departs from Stockholm at 16:20 and reaches the final destination Berlin tomorrow, Monday, 08:52.
