Renaud Muselier's right-wing list, allied to LREM, largely defeated the National Rally of Thierry Mariani in the second round of regional elections in Paca.

The RN won no victory in this election, a huge disillusionment for the party of Marine Le Pen.

The right-wing list, allied with LREM, of the outgoing Renaud Muselier (LR) largely won the duel of the second round of the regional elections in Paca on Sunday, with 56.8% to 57.7% of the votes against that of Thierry Mariani, depriving the RN of any victory in this ballot. Renaud Muselier, who remained alone in contention against the candidate of the RN after the withdrawal from the union list of the left of the ecologist Jean-Laurent Félizia, is credited with 56.8% by Ifop, 57% by Elabe, 57.2% by Harris interactive and 57.7% by Ipsos Sopra-Steria, according to their initial estimates.
