During the day after recovery in the capital, 4,018 patients were discharged.

For all the time, 22,086 people with coronavirus have died in the city.

The total number of cases of coronavirus registered in the Russian Federation has reached 5,451,291, since the beginning of the pandemic, 133,282 people have died, 4,956,714 patients have recovered.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, more than 148.4 million

On the eve of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that there are no problems with coronavirus vaccination in the capital, adding that there is enough vaccine in the city.

“We have opened additional vaccination points in large volumes - in parks, clinics and shopping centers.

At the moment there are no problems either with recording or with vaccination in Moscow, "RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.

He noted that the number of people who sign up for vaccinations in the capital has multiplied.

On Friday, June 25, according to him, 86 thousand people signed up for the COVID-19 vaccine.

“This is exactly what we need to add about 2 million more people who have been vaccinated within a month.

This will be a huge step towards reducing morbidity and getting out of restrictions, ”the mayor emphasized.

In the meantime, an updated instruction for the Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine was published, where, in particular, new recommendations for vaccination of pregnant women appeared.

The instructions say that it is worth using the drug during pregnancy only in cases where the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.

The instructions specify that there is no experience of clinical use of the drug "Gam-COVID-Vac" during pregnancy.

"During the study of reproductive toxicity in animals, no negative effects on the course of pregnancy, embryo-fetal development (in females) and prenatal development of offspring were found," the recommendations say.

It is also noted that the use of the drug during breastfeeding is contraindicated.

We will remind, on June 25, the Ministry of Health of Russia announced the removal of contraindications for vaccination of pregnant women from COVID-19 with the drug "Sputnik V".

The head of the department, Mikhail Murashko, stressed that, thus, the possibility of vaccination of pregnant women with a high risk of a severe course of the disease is open.

Delta strain

Rospotrebnadzor reported details about the new strain of the delta coronavirus.

Natalya Pshenichnaya, deputy director for clinical and analytical work of the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, noted that it is still difficult to say how dangerous it is, it is only clear that the "delta" strain is more infectious.

“One sick person in India, for example, could infect six,” the specialist said.

As Pshenichnaya said, sharp rises in the incidence of COVID-19 in Russia may arise precisely because of the possible spread of the "delta" strain in the event of non-compliance with anti-epidemic measures.

In turn, the official representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Russia Melita Vujnovich called the situation with the new COVID-19 strain alarming.

"The delta strain infects a lot of cells, a person (infected with this strain. -
