Belgium, already qualified for the round of 16, defeated a valiant Finland team 2-0 after a long undecided match on Monday in St. Petersburg.

The Red Devils, winner of their first two matches had to draw on their resources to force the Finnish lock, which ended up jumping in the 74th minute when Vermaelen, saw his header hit the crossbar before being pushed back in her goals by Hradeky (74).

Then, Lukaku made the break with a powerful pivot strike to give a scale more in line with Belgian domination (81).

With this defeat, Finland for a long time curled up on its camp, no longer has its destiny in hand and will have to wait to know if it should reach the knockout stages as one of the best third.
