On Monday, the government was overthrown when the Left Party, the Christian Democrats, the Moderates and the Sweden Democrats voted yes to the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Stefan Löfven in the Riksdag.

- I think it's sad that it needed to go this far.

I had hoped that we would resolve the issue long before.

The government and the Center Party have known for a long time that we are drawing the line at market rents, so they have had a long time to compromise, says Emma Hilborn.

The distrust was aroused by the Sweden Democrats - a proposal that the Left Party voted for.

- You can definitely be critical of that, but we do not have a collaboration with SD - but sometimes we have the same opinions and it can not be avoided.

We knew that we needed the support of the Moderates and the Christian Democrats to overthrow the Prime Minister.
