The Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, against the backdrop of hot weather prevailing in most of the Russian Federation, has published recommendations for citizens "working in conditions of high air temperatures."

The relevant information is published on the website of the department.

“If the temperature in the working room is close to 28.5 degrees, it is recommended to reduce the working day by one hour.

When the temperature rises to 29 degrees - for two hours, at a temperature of 30.5 degrees - for four hours, ”the Rospotrebnadzor said.

At the same time, it is indicated that the duration of periods of continuous work in the open air at temperatures above 32.5 ° C should be 15-20 minutes, followed by a rest of at least 10-12 minutes in refrigerated rooms.

"The permissible total duration of thermal stress for a work shift should not exceed 4-5 hours for persons using special clothing to protect against thermal radiation, and 1.5-2 hours for persons without special clothing," the department stated.

Rospotrebnadzor stressed that work at temperatures above 32.5 ° C is classified as hazardous.

Therefore, companies are advised to change the schedule for employees working outdoors, moving it to the morning or evening.

In addition, it is recommended to admit persons not younger than 25 and not older than 40 years to such activities.

In order to prevent dehydration of the body, it is recommended to properly organize and observe the drinking regime, explained in Rospotrebnadzor.

Thus, the temperature of drinks should be around 10-15 ° C.

At the same time, to compensate for the loss of salts and trace elements, it is recommended to use mineral alkaline water, fermented milk products, juices, fortified drinks and oxygen-protein cocktails.

“You should drink water often and little by little in order to maintain good hydration of the body (optimal water content in the body, which ensures its normal vital activity, metabolism).

At an air temperature of more than 30 ° C and performing work of medium severity, it is required to drink at least 0.5 liters of water per hour - about one cup every 20 minutes, ”the department explained.

Physician-therapist Lyudmila Lapa, General Director of the Medical Center for Immunocorrection named after R.N.

Khodanova, in a conversation with RT, also made a number of advice to Russians during the heat wave.

In particular, she recommended wearing organic cotton clothing and protecting your head from direct sunlight.

“We sunbathe not from the sun, but from ultraviolet radiation, and from the sun we receive only heatstroke. Therefore, you need to protect yourself and not overheat. If we are on the bank of the river, then our task is to warm up for 15-20 minutes and immediately swim for 15-20 minutes too. The regulations must be absolutely clear. Never sit on cold ground and in wet clothes. Because this is a direct path to colds. To exacerbation of chronic and primary, immune - ARVI, ARI. If the slightest temperature appears, then immediately go home, to a cool place, ”she explained.

At the same time, the therapist noticed that in the premises it is not necessary to set the temperature of the air conditioner below 24 ° C, so as not to create a large temperature difference with the external environment.

According to her, going out into the heat from a cool room leads to the fact that the human body begins to work more intensively and picks up infections more easily.

“The best recommendation for office workers is a 24 ° C air conditioner.

And drink plenty of tea and water.

At the same time, drinking black tea, without sugar, is more useful than with sugar, because sugar thickens the blood, and we need it to work very well and protect the most important thing - the vascular bed, ”stated Lyudmila Lapa.
