China News Service, June 21. Recently, three Chinese astronauts successfully flew into the sky on the Shenzhou 12 manned spacecraft, becoming the first group of personnel stationed in the sky and core module of the Chinese space station.

In this regard, experts in the Russian aviation field said that after the completion of the Chinese space station, it is likely that it will become the only space station in low-Earth orbit.

The Russian astronauts even expressed the hope that they would go to work in Tiangong in the future.

According to the Russian "Kommersant" report, on June 17, China sent the first batch of construction teams of its own space station to space.

The three astronauts will carry out a three-month space exploration mission, including inspection, adjustment and, if necessary, repair of equipment in the core module of the space station.

To this end, the crew will also conduct a spacewalk.

According to the report, this is part of China's ambitious space program. With the International Space Station scheduled to decommission in 2024, the Tiangong Space Station will be the only space station operating in human low-Earth orbit.

"Only by relying on it can international space cooperation continue."

In this regard, Russian astronaut Mark Serov said in an interview, “It is gratifying that the Russian National Space Agency will cooperate with Chinese counterparts. I think such cooperation is very promising, and I hope our astronauts can go to China. Space station, and Chinese astronauts go to our national space station ROSS (planned to start construction in 2025)."

In the view of Russian aerospace expert and science journalist Lisov, China's space development clearly reminds people in other parts of the world of the importance of manned spaceflight.

He pointed out that some people have seen new opportunities on the Chinese space station, "Europeans have long been staring in this direction, looking for opportunities to work on the Chinese (space) station."

"The Chinese space station is full of professional scientific experiment platforms in specific research fields... There are also some multi-purpose experiment platforms that can invite Chinese and foreign researchers to place their equipment." Lisov said that the Chinese space station is a well-thought-out science project.

"Our Chinese counterparts have undoubtedly become important participants in space exploration." Mark Serov said.
