June 21, 2021 The new rules for entry into Italy from European Union countries and from the United States, Canada and Japan with the requirements of the Green Certificate are in force from today, also in the Roman airports of Fiumicino and Ciampino managed by Adr. Ban on entry, on the other hand, from India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and 5-day quarantine with buffer obligation for those coming from Great Britain (Fiumicino and Ciampino are equipped with special areas set up by Adr in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Region Lazio for the administration of the Covid-19 test), as envisaged by the new ordinance signed by the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza which, in fact, places more restrictive measures for the countries most affected by the Delta variant.

After the peak of infections recorded in Great Britain, the obligation of five days of quarantine for arrivals from the United Kingdom is therefore reintroduced (four flights scheduled today at Fiumicino from London. Two flights from London, one from Manchester and two flights are expected at Ciampino another from Edinburgh) and the ban on entry from India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh extended.

On the other hand, it is easier to reach Italy from Europe and non-EU countries. The Green Pass in fact provides to be vaccinated with a drug approved by Ema and Aifa (Pfizer, Astrazeneca, Moderna or Janssen), to be negative with an antigenic or molecular swab carried out in the 48 hours prior to the trip or to be cured of Covid in the last 180 days.
