The Frankfurt Fashion Lounge will be a guest at Opernplatz from July 6th to 8th.
Between the Alte Oper and the Hotel Sofitel there will be a 20-meter-long catwalk and 100 seats on an open-air space of 600 square meters.

The concept for this comes from Sevinc Yerli, who has been running her own fashion company Chili Bang Bang since 2014 and founded the Frankfurt Fashion Lounge in 2019 and organized presentations. The German-Turkish entrepreneur has been working in the industry for more than 20 years, in 2018 she was honored by the city of Frankfurt, and in 2017 she was honored by the Hessian Minister of Economic Affairs as the best "new founder of Hesse". Since 2018, the mother of three children, who is married to the Crytec founder Avni Yerli, has also been running a charity and networking platform “Joy's Women Club” with around 300 members. She organizes monthly events.
With the help of her network, she set up the project for the Fashion Lounge on Opernplatz. "We always believed that it would be possible and applied for it last year," reports Yerli. The necessary permits, including the hygiene concept, were only issued three weeks ago. Nevertheless, Yerli can present a program with eight shows by Frankfurt designers and a best-of event for the Frankfurt Style Award. Some of the tickets for the fashion lounge shows are reserved for trade visitors, while the rest of the tickets are available for sale via Eventbrite.
