Just minutes after a 25-year-old man was stabbed to death in his apartment in Svalöv, his suspected killer got on a bus where he met some friends.

At least one person on the bus must have noticed that the 20-year-old man was bloody.

One of the friends on the bus was a 19-year-old man who was later questioned as a witness by the police and told that the suspected killer was as usual, but that he had an injury to a finger.

Key witness

The murder trial against the 20-year-old in Lund District Court ended on 15 June and the verdict will be presented on 30 June.

One of the prosecutor's key witnesses is a woman who at the time of the murder was the girlfriend of the murder accused.

The woman has in interrogation told how her then boyfriend came home bloody that evening.

She also told how his clothes and a knife were collected in a bag and taken care of by another man.

Threatened on instagram

But during the main trial, the woman received threatening messages on instagram.

The 19-year-old friend of the murder suspect has now been charged with assault in court, a crime that can result in imprisonment for up to four years.

According to the indictment, he attacked the woman with threats of violence for testifying in a police interrogation and / or for preventing her from providing information in court.

- My opinion is that it is a threat in the way he has acted, says chamber prosecutor Anders Stridh who is also the prosecutor in the murder case.

The trial will take place on Wednesday in Lund District Court.

The man denies the crime.
