The ratio was the lowest ever, with the number of applicants decreasing by more than 2,400 from last year, which was significantly lower than 9.6 times in 2019, which was the lowest in the current examination system two years ago.



The number of successful female applicants was 561, accounting for 30.6% of the total, the second highest number and percentage after 2019.



On the other hand, by university of origin, the largest number was 256 at the University of Tokyo, followed by Kyoto University at 115 and Hokkaido University at 80.
