Precise instructions

The Secretary General of the Ministry of the Interior, Benoît Albertini, sent this Sunday a letter to this effect to the prefects, with extremely precise instructions.

“If arrangements have been made after each signal to provide the useful answers, it is absolutely necessary to ensure, with a view to the second round of controls, of the secretary general.

It is also fundamental that the elected representatives of the territories, whether they are candidates or not, benefit from useful information in this respect.

A telephone number to report malfunctions

To ensure “effective and systematic supervision of the enveloping”, the prefects will have to “second an agent from the prefecture to the places where these operations are organized to check their quality”. They should also "set up an operational unit to monitor the distribution of electoral propaganda throughout the department (where applicable at the level of sub-prefectures for close monitoring)". They are also asked to "give directly and as quickly as possible to the signals (...) so that the necessary corrective measures are defined and implemented at most within 24 hours and in any event at the next round of distribution ”.

Finally, the prefects must "provide elected officials with a telephone number and a dedicated functional box which will be permanently raised to process these reports" and a "national point will be carried out twice a day by the Ministry of the Interior to process reported incidents as quickly as possible ”.

This week, several candidates and parties including LFI complained of problems in the delivery of professions of faith to voters, and questioned the new provider Adrexo, chosen after a call for tenders by the ministry of the Interior.
