According to TASS, exceptions will be made by persons who can provide a certificate of vaccination, a negative test result for coronavirus or the presence of antibodies.
The extension of the ban goes into effect on June 30 and is valid until August 31.
There are no entry restrictions for residents of Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway.
Earlier, the European Commissioner spoke about the progress of the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 in the EU.
