According to Mikael Damberg, the Social Democrats have a long history of cooperating and having tough negotiations with the Left Party.

But in the January agreement - which was concluded between S, MP, C and L - it is written that V should have no political influence.

- It was a very special wording.

This was important because it was two bourgeois parties that, after the election, after lengthy negotiations, decided to cooperate across the bloc border.

And for them, especially for the Liberals, it was a hugely important requirement that this be made clear in the text that this was the way we should do it.

Damberg says he understands that the Left Party was provoked by this, but thinks that the party should think about what it might mean to "crack the cooperation" between the January parties.

- If the Left does not right now want to give Ulf Kristersson and the Sweden Democrats a decisive influence in Swedish politics, then one must try to keep it at bay so as not to get a very capsize, the most right-wing government ever in Sweden.
