Nine athletes and coaches representing Uganda for the Tokyo Olympics arrived in Japan at Tokyo Narita Airport yesterday afternoon.

Two doses of AstraZeneca vaccine were administered in Uganda, and PCR tests within 72 hours before departure all tested negative for Corona and submitted a confirmation letter.

However, one of them was confirmed to be infected with the corona virus at Narita Airport quarantine.
