June 20, 2021 China has administered more than one billion doses of Covid vaccines. This was announced by the Ministry of Health which, however, did not specify the percentage of the immunized population. The Chinese figure represents more than a third of the total doses administered in the world, or 2.5 billion.

In the last six days alone, in particular, 100 million doses have been administered, a figure that shows the acceleration of the vaccination campaign, to reach the declared goal of immunizing at least 70% of the population by the end of the year. For a few days, vaccinations have also been opened for citizens between the ages of 3 and 17.
