When a moose cow has had calves, it has become aggressive towards people who move on an exercise trail through the forest.

There are several cases where it made an outcome and last year a woman was injured after being run down.

On Friday, a boy was hit.

He received no injuries but was cut after having to seek shelter behind a post for twenty minutes when the cow failed.

Torn ground where the moose made an attack on the boy, who sought protection behind the pole.

Hunters were sent after the animal and the police approved a killing application.

On Saturday morning, the cow was shot to death.

At her side she had a calf that was also shot.

- It would not have been possible without her.

In addition, it looked very weak, says one of the hunters to SVT.

Her second calf was later found nearby, dead earlier.

- We have for several years tried to scare away the moose, but it has always come back and attacked people.

Shooting it was the last resort, says the hunter, who wishes to remain anonymous.
