On the 21st, he will hold talks with Ruguidi, Minister of Peaceful Negotiations on the Korean Peninsula at the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  This is Kim Sung's first visit to South Korea after he was appointed as the special representative for North Korea affairs.

After arriving at Incheon Airport, he said that he looked forward to a constructive dialogue during his visit to South Korea.

  According to reports, Kim Sung will hold a meeting of chief representatives of South Korea and the United States for consultations on the North Korean nuclear issue with Ruguidi on the morning of the 21st.

On the 21st, Kim Sung and Ru Kweti will also hold a meeting of chief representatives of South Korea, the United States and Japan with the director of the Asian and General Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

On the 22nd, Kim Sung will meet with South Korean Unification Minister Lee In-young, and then meet with academics and civic groups to discuss the US policy toward North Korea.

  Kim Sung will leave South Korea on the 23rd.
