- We believe that the one who is best should have the job.

One should not brag about gender, ethnic origin and age.

If you have that entrance, there is no discrimination, says Staffan Eklöf (SD) who is a member of the municipal council in Jönköping.

As early as 2017, a similar motion was written by the party, but it was voted down in the council.

Now Staffan Eklöf believes that the issue has matured and therefore it is relevant to bring it forward again.

the suggestion is to try the method and then evaluate.

The industry association Swedish HR Association has noticed that the subject is hot right now and that it is being tested in some places.

- An example is a municipality that removed the personal letter and also used a robot in its recruitment process, they have noticed that they have received more applications and a wider selection.

Another example is a company that uses AI in the selection process.

The boss then compares his top candidates with the robot's, says CEO Lena Bjurner.

The motion is being prepared right now and is expected to be taken up for a decision in a few months.
