He was best known for his benevolence and for the good humor he displayed in all circumstances.

According to information from the Parisian, he died at the age of 48 from a heart attack that occurred around 5:30 p.m. in Pietracorbara, in Cap Corse (Haute-Corse), where he lived.
He had rested for a nap after the Blues game but did not wake up.
