The 'only victim' of a fire in an American apartment was rescued by firefighters.

According to foreign media such as CBS in the US on the 8th local time, a fire accident recently occurred in an apartment in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Residents shuddered when it was determined that no one was injured, but firefighters soon noticed that there were victims who had not managed to get out of the building.

It was Igor, the dog of the resident on the 15th floor of the apartment.

Firefighters immediately entered the building and found Igor lying unconscious in a smoke-filled room.

There were no burns, but he was unconscious from inhaling poisonous gas.

Igor was a large Siberian Husky, weighing 45 kg, and the firefighters worked together to rescue Igor by walking down the 15th floor holding the droopy Igor.

Igor came to his senses shortly after receiving first aid with an animal-specific oxygen ventilator.

He was later taken to a veterinary hospital, and it is expected that he will be able to recover without any side effects.

Firefighter Brennan said, "I'm glad that the dog is safe. It's moments like this that save lives that make me feel why I became a firefighter."

This is a 'news pick'.
