It was at 15.30 that two cars collided on highway 34. Six people are said to have been affected in the accident.
When the rescue service arrived at the scene, the road was closed in both directions, when a person was stuck in one of the cars.
- The person does not go out by himself.
We help the person get out in a good way, says Daniel Agerhult, internal commander of the Rescue Service Östra Götaland.
At 15.43, the road was estimated to be closed for about 30 more minutes.
Just before 4 pm, the person was out and loaded into an ambulance, according to the rescue service.
The road is expected to reopen to traffic in about ten minutes.
At 4.10 pm, the rescue service was able to announce that two people had been taken to hospital after the accident and that the road is open for traffic again.
