It is Gotlands Museum that has now ensured that parts of the tower have been refreshed.
- The challenge is to start from the model all the time, says Ola Nyström, restoration craftsman at Alvar Hallgren Bygg who carried out the work.
The ring wall is owned by Region Gotland, but the National Heritage Board is responsible for its maintenance.
However, there are exceptions.
Dalmanstornet is the Gotlands Museum responsible for.
The museum is also responsible for the care of all the inner city ruins of the inner city.
