Police and fire brigade are looking for a 61-year-old man in a swimming lake in Mainflingen (Offenbach district).
On Saturday morning, his bike and clothes were found on the bank, a police spokesman said on Saturday.
The police assume that he was swimming in the lake on Friday evening and had a swimming accident.
Divers and a rescue helicopter are also involved in the operation.

Several trucks collided on the A66 near Schlüchtern (Main-Kinzig district), injuring three people. On Friday afternoon, a man drove his truck onto a truck with a shut-off trailer from the motorway maintenance depot in the right lane, the police said. Subsequently, a small truck driving behind the truck could no longer brake and crashed into the vehicles. The 33-year-old driver of the pickup truck was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
