“There was a message that coal mass was ejected in the longwall of the Anzherskaya-Yuzhnaya mine in the Kemerovo Municipal District, and a 37-year-old miner died,” the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the region said in a statement.
It is noted that the case was initiated under the article on violation of industrial safety requirements for hazardous production facilities.
The body of the deceased worker was raised to the surface, and a forensic medical examination will be carried out.
Earlier it was reported that one person died at a mine in the Kemerovo region.
