Several Crimean cities were flooded as a result of heavy downpours on the peninsula.

Tatiana Lyubetskaya, head of the Crimean Hydrometeorological Center, told TASS that almost two monthly precipitation rates fell in the eastern regions of the peninsula.

Yalta, Kerch, Feodosia and several other settlements suffered from the blow of the elements.

So, in Yalta, one person died as a result of flooding.

As a result of a prolonged downpour, an ambulance station was also blocked in Yalta, said Sergei Olefirenko, director of the Crimean Republican Center for Disaster Medicine and Ambulance.

The Yalta authorities temporarily cut off the water supply in the city, in some areas the electricity was cut off.

So, on the site of the enterprise "Krymenergo" it was reported that about 2.7 thousand consumers were left without power supply.

A mobile detachment of servicemen of the Black Sea Fleet arrived in the city to help in eliminating the consequences of the flood.

On Friday afternoon, weather conditions in the Yalta region improved, Yanina Pavlenko said.

“The weather conditions have already improved significantly, the rain has practically stopped.
