China News Service, Wuhan, June 18 (Reporter Ma Furong) The 11th China Overseas Chinese Association Overseas Friendship Training Course (Overseas Foreman) opened in Wuhan on the 18th, with participants from more than 20 countries and regions including Australia, France, the United States, and Germany. More than 40 overseas Chinese leaders participated in this seminar.
This overseas seminar is hosted by the China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and undertaken by the Hubei Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and Wuhan University. It aims to strengthen the communication with overseas Chinese groups and leaders, deepen the understanding of overseas Chinese leaders on the national conditions of their ancestors (home), and enhance the overseas Chinese groups. The leadership ability of overseas Chinese leaders guides overseas Chinese leaders to tell Chinese stories, and promotes the harmonious construction of overseas Chinese groups and communities.
Zhu Liu, vice minister of the Chinese Association of Overseas Chinese Friendship Liaison Department and first-level inspector, said in his speech that the current world economy, international politics, Sino-foreign relations and overseas Chinese relations are undergoing profound changes.
How to understand the development trend of the world today, clearly grasp the profound changes in overseas Chinese relations, timely capture the development opportunities brought by the new development pattern of China to overseas Chinese, and shoulder the mission and responsibility of telling Chinese stories to the outside world. I am the trainees of this seminar and all overseas Chinese leaders. Issues that should be considered in depth.
Zhu Liu put forward three hopes to the trainees. First, they must have the mind to help the world, actively participate in the prevention and control of the epidemic in the country, take the initiative to publicize China's national defense control experience, participate in local charity volunteer services, and show a social image of harmony and mutual assistance; Have a realm of harmony and harmony, with the well-being of overseas Chinese, and jointly build a harmonious overseas community that is harmonious, win-win, united and friendly, and full of vitality; third, there must be the wisdom of telling Chinese stories, and actively build Sino-foreign civilization exchanges and mutual learning bridge.
The training class lasted for one week, including two parts: course training and on-site teaching.
The seminar invited relevant experts and professors from Wuhan University to give lectures. The courses covered "Overseas Chinese relations under a century of change and good Chinese stories to foreigners", "Seventy years of space dreams", "Global economy and China strategies under the epidemic", "Classical poetry and poetry". The students will also visit the future science and technology city of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone, the Hubei Provincial Museum and other content such as "Art of Life" and "Anti-epidemic Heroes Sharing Anti-epidemic Stories".
