Chinanews.com, Nanning, June 18th, title: Taiwan’s youth loves "agriculture" and the mainland wants to move west to Guangxi to become "new farmers"

China News Service reporter Jiang Xuelin

Yang Zhengyu, a young man from Taipei City, Taiwan, is engaged in catering, entertainment and cultural-related industries in Wuhan, Hubei, and his career has flourished. In the past two years, he has begun to try to turn around.

The "Hundreds of Taiwanese Youth Experience in Bagui" series of activities were held in Guangxi from June 15th to 19th.

Yang Zhengyu accompanied the delegation to inspect the small capitals of Baitun and Nonglatun, the tourism demonstration villages in Mashan County, Guangxi, and experienced the Mashan Zhuang Drums, a representative project of the national intangible cultural heritage in the "folk custom" category that was recently selected.

In an exclusive interview with a reporter from China News Agency, he said that Guangxi has beautiful scenery, beautiful environment and rich culture.

The climate of Guangxi is very suitable for the development of agriculture, and Guangxi's agriculture is not highly developed, just like a piece of jade to be developed.

Participating in the revitalization of Guangxi's rural areas can deeply develop the "jade" of Guangxi's agricultural industry.

If given the opportunity, he would like to be a "new farmer" in Guangxi.

Yang Zhengyu said that Taiwan's fine agriculture and cultural and creative industries started relatively early.

Taiwanese youth can combine their own advantages and participate in rural revitalization.

"Like the small capital of Baitun in Mashan County, it has many cultural products that can be extended. What I am most impressed is the pole pole displayed in the village history museum with love songs carved on it. One pole is carved into a dragon and the other is carved into a phoenix. , There is a Tai Chi gossip picture carved in the middle. At that time, I remembered that someone in the Taiqing delegation asked if they could buy it. The guide told us that it could not be sold, but it was only displayed. Nowadays young people like Guofeng very much and made it into bookmarks. Other cultural and creative products will be very popular." Yang Zhengyu said.

Yang Zhengyu said that there are many young people in Taiwan who are engaged in cultural and creative industries. As long as they dig deeper into cultural products, they can make many seemingly inconspicuous things and make many creative daily necessities.

For the revitalization of agriculture and rural areas in Guangxi, Taiwan’s talents are very much needed.

"This is the opportunity for Taiqing in Guangxi."

Yang Zhengyu, who is also the chief executive of the National Taiwan Enterprise Federation Youth Committee, came to Wuhan in 2002 and began to participate in his mother's business in the mainland.

At first, his mother hoped that he would inherit the commercial real estate business, but Yang Zhengyu insisted on his interest and opened a coffee shop.

In the past two years, he began to expand his business to agriculture. He planted Jiupin Xianglian in Xiamen and Wuhan, and expanded the raw materials of Jiupin Xianglian in biotechnology to make facial masks and other skin care products.

"Compared to when my father came, the conditions in the mainland are much better now. The '22 Agriculture and Forestry Regulations' and other policies that benefit Taiwan compatriots have been introduced, which have greatly attracted Taiwan’s youth to develop in the mainland." Agricultural infrastructure and financial policies are all helpful for Taiwanese youths to start their businesses in the mainland.

This is why he is more and more fond of mainland agriculture.

"How to integrate with rural revitalization? This is a topic worthy of serious consideration by Taiwan Youth. Whether it is Mashan or other places in Guangxi, the rural hardware facilities in many places have been well repaired, and there will be no shortage of tourists. But how to use Tourists are willing to come many times and consume better in rural areas. It must be carefully considered. When I participated in rural revitalization and construction in Hubei, I was more concerned about how to make the villagers’ sense of honor and pride.” Yang Zhengyu said.

Yang Zhengyu said that Nonglatun in Mashan is such a village. The current chairman of Nongla Tourism Professional Cooperative Li Rongguang, who returned to Nonglatun after graduating from high school in the late 1970s, was elected by the villagers as the production team leader, and then led the villagers. Started the control of rocky desertification that lasted for decades.

After decades of hard work, he restored the deserted rocky desert land to the current mountain and green trees. He did an extraordinary thing.

"I can feel that he was very proud when he introduced it to us."

"Before I came, I had some understanding of rocky desertification, but I didn't expect it to be so serious. This is the unique history of this place. Now after '00', he sees Guangxi everywhere is very beautiful, he doesn't Know what has happened in the past. If these young people have the opportunity to come to Nongla, feel how the villagers here come here? How do they use the mountains for under-forest economy, how to maintain water and soil? These are very good for the post-00s. Attractive. The generation of'post-00s' is in great need of popular science education. The changes in Nongla are the best popular science education." Yang Zhengyu said.
