Some political parties, counties, cities, organizations, and people actively contacted and negotiated purchases, and constantly called on the DPP authorities to open up the introduction of vaccines from mainland China or purchase the mRNA new crown vaccine from Germany's Baintech company (BNT), which is represented by Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical Group.
However, the DPP authorities ignored the urgent need for vaccines by the people in Taiwan. Not only did they refuse to introduce vaccines from the mainland, they also set up obstacles for some counties, cities, private organizations, and enterprises in Taiwan to negotiate the purchase of vaccines.

Ma Xiaoguang stated that, as everyone knows, Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical Group participates in the research and development and owns the exclusive commercial rights of BNT vaccine in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
The company has long made it clear that it is willing to serve the vaccine to Taiwan compatriots, and has been actively promoting the provision of this vaccine to Taiwan.
We hope that counties and cities on the island, private parties, and Fosun will reach a vaccine purchase agreement as soon as possible in accordance with normal business rules, so that the people in Taiwan can use the much-needed vaccine as soon as possible.
The press release issued by the DPP authorities deliberately avoided the above-mentioned facts and even lied about the so-called "international procurement contract". What do they intend to do?
At the moment when the people of Taiwan are eager to get the vaccine, the DPP authorities are still making political articles, confuse the public, and try to distort the commercial purchases of mainland companies by Taiwan's counties, cities, enterprises, and institutions. What are their intentions?
Will the DPP authorities still carry out political manipulation and continue to set up obstacles on the vaccine issue?
