Residents of Crimea warned about the threat of mudflows in a number of areas

The Crimean hydrometeorological center informs about it.

"Due to the fall of heavy, sometimes very heavy rains on June 18 on some rivers of the Crimea, water levels are expected to rise by 0.5-1.5 m. In the mudflow basins of the rivers of the districts of Alushta, Sudak and Feodosia, there is a threat of mudflows," the statement says. official communication.

A regional emergency regime has been introduced in Crimea. 

In Yalta, because of the Vodopadnaya River overflowing its banks after prolonged rains, houses and roads were flooded, the city may be left without electricity.

Rescuers are evacuating the population from flooded cities.
