Prime Minister Kim had a phone call with Lee Sang-gyu, head of the Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters, who is in charge of the site today (18th), and after checking the fire suppression situation, he said this.
Then, referring to the situation where the fire had not been extinguished, Prime Minister Kim said, "It is a difficult situation, but please do your best to extinguish the fire."
The fire that occurred at the Coupang Deokpyeong Logistics Center in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, has not been extinguished until this afternoon.
Gyeonggi Gwangju Fire Station Rescue Chief Kim Dong-sik entered the second floor of this building yesterday morning to search for people, but he was unable to escape due to the devastating fire and is currently missing.
