• Support Vox demands Ayuso to close Telemadrid and repeal the LGTBI laws

The planned script has been followed to the letter and Isabel Díaz Ayuso is now officially president of the Community of Madrid for the second time in 22 years.

His investiture has gone ahead in the first round with 65 votes from his party -PP- and 12 from Vox.

"My commitment is to all the citizens of the Community of Madrid, to give them back the trust they have given us at the polls," Ayuso said during his last speech to ask for the Assembly's confidence in his inauguration.

"We have two years ahead of us to stand up to the disastrous models that suffocate the middle classes and penalize creativity," he added, referring to the Government of Pedro Sánchez.

In addition, the already regional president has dedicated her final words to express her "loyalty to the Constitution, the autonomous state, the institutions, the symbols of the State and King Felipe VI."

Government structure

In her second term, the regional leader will have nine councils, four less than her ill-fated coalition with Citizens.

In general, the portfolios that were divided in 2019 are rejoined to satisfy the aspirations of the partners of the first bicolor Executive.

Thus, the Presidency rejoins with Justice and Interior and Education with Universities and Science, although during the electoral campaign Ayuso pointed out that the latter would continue to have its own entity.

In addition, the powers of the Spokesperson are added.

It will also once again be a single council that brings together the management of the Economy, Finance and Employment.

In addition, Environment is merged with Housing and a new category is added: Agriculture.

The area of Social Policy will also include the Family and Youth competencies.

In the case of Local Administration, which during this legislature has been linked to Housing, Digitization is now added, in a clear commitment to the technology sector.

The ministries that are maintained are Health, Transport and Infrastructure and Culture and Tourism, although in the latter case the Sports management is also added.

Ayuso will take office and his nine advisers will do the same on Monday.

That day the new regional government will meet and the management will begin.

Despite the fact that Vox's votes for Ayuso's investiture have been free, Rocío Monasterio's party has already begun to put a price on its parliamentary support for the rest of the legislature.

Among the first demands raised is the closure of Telemadrid and the

repeal of LGTBI laws
