Young Jerusalemites launched calls for a march in occupied Jerusalem today, Friday, in support of the Prophet, and to denounce the abuses directed at his shrine during the so-called flags march organized by settlers a few days ago with a green light from the Israeli government.

The Jerusalemites called for the march to proceed from Al-Aqsa Mosque to Bab Al-Amoud after Friday prayers.

Yesterday, Thursday, a number of Palestinian youths organized a vigil in Bab al-Amud in response to settlers, during their participation in the flags march last Tuesday, insulting and cursing the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him), and chanting anti-Palestinian and anti-Arab slogans.

The occupation forces intervened to disperse the vigil in Bab al-Amud (Anatolia)

repression and arrests

The Israeli occupation forces intervened to suppress the vigil at Bab al-Amud.

The occupation forces arrested a number of Palestinian youths participating in the vigil, and used sound and sewage bombs to disperse them.

Israeli provocations raised more tension in Jerusalem, while Palestinian calls for a mobilization in the city and the protection of Al-Aqsa Mosque were repeated.
