June 18, 2021 Free entry to Italy from European Union countries and from the United States, Canada and Japan with the requirements of the Green Certificate, ban on entry from India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and 5-day quarantine with the obligation of a swab for who comes from Great Britain.

This is foreseen by the new ordinance signed by the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza and in force since Monday 21 June.

The new ordinance places more restrictive measures for the countries most affected by the Delta variant, thus reintroducing the obligation of five days of quarantine for arrivals from the United Kingdom after the peak of infections and extending the ban on entry from India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh . Easier to reach Italy from Europe and non-EU countries. The green pass in fact provides that one must be vaccinated with a drug approved by Ema and Aifa - Pfizer, Astrazeneca, Moderna or Janssen -, be negative with an antigenic or molecular swab carried out in the 48 hours prior to the trip or be cured of Covid in the last 180 days .
