Cuscito (Filt Cgil): sector on its knees, government urgently opens discussion table

"The air transport sector is on its knees at the moment and there has been no government help. We need social safety nets and a development plan, for all air transport, for all the next years". National secretary Filt Cgil Fabrizio Cuscito said this at Fiumicino airport during the garrison of workers on the occasion of the 4-hour general strike of air transport. "Then there are the major disputes such as those of Alitalia and Air Italy where 1500 workers they risk being fired from next Tuesday. It is urgent that the Government open a discussion table dedicated only to air transport. So far, despite the requests, this has not happened and it is already too late ", concluded Cuscito.
