The talks were divided into two parts: small-scale talks and enlarged meetings. Among them, the small-scale talks attended by Putin, Biden, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State Brinken lasted nearly two hours.

  Including the coffee break, the entire meeting lasted for about four and a half hours. The two sides held discussions on issues such as strategic stability, trade relations, regional security, and network security.

  After the meeting, the two issued a joint statement on strategic stability and confirmed the two countries' adherence to the principle that "there is no victor in a nuclear war."
