Popova spoke about the spread of the Indian strain of coronavirus

She said that the World Health Organization identifies four strains of coronavirus: British, South African, Brazilian and Indian. 

"It (the Indian strain. - RT) already prevails in 64 countries, and today we see its fairly intensive spread, starting in Russia," TASS quoted her as saying.

Also, the head of Rospotrebnadzor believes that the increase in the incidence of COVID-19 in Russia is associated with the "total nihilism" of citizens in relation to preventive measures.

Doctor of Medical Sciences, immunologist Vladislav Zhemchugov, in an interview with FAN, assessed the situation with COVID-19 in Russia.
