The scene took place in the area of ​​the Arsenal university campus.

The 19-year-old first injured a first pedestrian, aged 58, by snatching her handbag and then, while he was fleeing, he jostled another 50-year-old who was trying to intervene.

In her fall, the latter violently hit the ground with her head.

It was the university security guards who caught up with the fugitive and held him back until the police arrived.

The young person, already known to the services, was taken into custody.
